The man who won the Louis Vuitton Graffiti

Last week, as usual influx of buyers noticeable at Selfridges in Oxford Street consumed for the content of their hearts, a street artist was attacked the walls of the store with his spray can. Behind glass doors, shoppers could see him in action as he scrawled his signature on the inside of the famous department store.

But this was not some kind of protest against guerrilla Banksy-style mass consumption, in fact it was quite the opposite. In fact, it was all a designed for the legendary French brand with a scarf. In celebration, Vuitton introduced a pop-up store in Selfridges and asked the artist to reflect - to see the video above to display his work.

He follows in the footsteps of the legendary Stephen Sprouse, whose graffiti-style "of the U-shaped model of the legendary LV leopard scarf adorn their most popular. A construction, with the title" Great Adventures', only the next big hit Vuitton could be.

Were - you familiar with the work of Marc Jacobs?
I know the work of Marc Jacobs for years. A friend of mine used to design accessories.

Was it important for you to bring your work to a wider audience, through to an accessible room with Louis Vuitton?
Part of what we do, how street artists of our work is outside the normal boundaries of the gallery and museum, which is why so much of our work is to show, on the streets. Working with Louis Vuitton was an opportunity to reach a different audience.

Do you prefer working on silk (like your screen prints) or spray paint?
Spray paint.

Louis Vuitton has a history of working with outstanding artists - how it feels to want to follow in the footsteps of Yayoi Kusama and Stephen Sprouse?
Louis Vuitton is one of the biggest brands in the world and has a rich history of pushing collaboration with artists with an ideal, both the style of the artist and brand. To receive an invitation to work with Louis Vuitton is a big sign that I do something right. I feel very proud.
