  The first annual Women and Fashion Film festival is in New York on 8 June and 9 Founded in June instead of Jeanine Jeo-Hi Kim, we expect that this festival to bring together the fashion and film industries to examine the issues relating to women and to support their creative development. The festival, which takes place at Scandinavia House at 58 Park Avenue, includes 14 sessions, six panel discussions and a Q & A for students.

Among the films shown are "Girl Model", a documentary by David Redmon and Ashley Sabin directed examines the objectification of young women in the modeling world and "About Face: Supermodels, Then and Now" by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders. Other films to be shown "Ralph Rucci: a designer and his house," David Schiffer and "Sexy Baby" by Jill Bauer and Ronna Gradus. Short film highlights are Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Lady Series and Stuart Weitzman "Walking After Midnight" Gaga, with Petra Nemcova and directed by James Franco.

Follow select screenings and roundtables will focus on the challenges facing the projection screen women business fashion, beauty, the definition and modeling.
