style blogging wunderkind Tavi takes a break from fashion to be 16

Tavi matures as Benjamin Button in the blogosphere: from a tastemaker supernatural disciplined writer and a young girl spending time with her boyfriend and wants to explore other interests. Finally, the proof that it is a real teenager!

The young woman Gevinson vaulted to fame in 2008 when she was 11 with her first blog, The Style Rookie. Transport the new perspective of a juvenile with a penchant for fashion houses like Rodarte, the site appeals to the reader, and it quickly became a face of the regular Fashion Week. Worn granny chic aesthetic to Tavi sweaters and long skirts with gray hair and a hint of skin fascinated an industry that usually young love. In 2011, they created the Rookie of the online magazine, a nostalgic website confessional, she runs from her home in Oak Park, Illinois. Hardhitting media observers Lady Gaga has even considered him "the future of journalism."

But the 11-year-old, who has dressed as a septuagenarian grown to become a teenager who apply pleasant to own sensitivity to traditional age-appropriate activities. Now a junior in high school, she plans to take a year off after graduation before she heads to college.

In an interview with Adweek, Tavi says she wants to expand its interests of a single-minded focus on fashion "culture in general." Earlier this month celebrated The Style Rookie (operating system more than a personal blog of Tavi, or "blob" in his terms) with its founders approached his fifth birthday with a warm disinterest:

Sunday was the fifth anniversary of the blob here that I neglected in recent months in the interest of the rookie, school, friends, sleep and other things. Besides the fact that I do not feel like I have much to say, or rather, now I prefer to say it in private. My most recent log is my favorite thing I've ever done, and no one will ever see.

Tavi is tired of fashion? She said she wants to Adweek to stay involved with a rookie, even if they do not read every piece before it was published. Later in the month, they will try their hand at an after party mixer Museum of Chicago. Although it does not seem to have completely given up a style blogging, she conceded: This teen reserves the right to change his mind "message from rookie was what interests you, and you do not have to do anything for anyone.".
